The Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

A Sacramental of the Church

"Whosoever dies wearing this Scapular shall not suffer eternal fire." (Promise of Our Lady of Mount Carmel to St. Simon Stock on July 16, 1251.

The devils revealed to Venerable Francis of Yepes, brother of St. John of the Cross, that there are three things of which they are most afraid: the first is the Most Holy Name of Jesus, the second is the Most Holy Name of Mary, and the third is the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

One day Venerable Francis' scapular fell off. As he replaced it, the devil howled, "Take it off! Take off the habit which snatches so many souls from us! All those clothed in it die piously and escape us."

Made in the USA. Information leaflet enclosed. Please see below for Requested Offerings and quantities which include s/h with tracking information.

ST. ANDREW ADVENT NOVENA CHAPLET - or, Prayer To Obtain Favors - a beautiful prayer that is traditionally prayed 15 times each day from the Feast of St. Andrew, November 30 to Christmas Eve. It is a very meditative prayer which helps to increase our awareness of the real meaning of Christmas - and also helps
us to spiritually prepare for the Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord on Christmas.
The Chaplet measures 5-1/4 inches long, with fifteen 8mm dark violet glass beads, and a Nativity of Jesus medal. Included is a full-color leaflet with the Prayer to Obtain Favors (St. Andrew Advent Novena Prayer) and an explanation
of the Chaplet. Imprimatur - FEBRUARY 6, 1897. Leaflet printed in the Monastery.
It is piously believed that whoever recites the St. Andrew Advent Novena prayer FIFTEEN times each day from the feast of St. Andrew (November 30th) until Christmas Eve will obtain what is asked.
